Does anyone have any websites that give word ladders for first grade? I have been wanting to try these with my kids and can not locate a good website.
THANKS!

I don't know of a website, but I have a book of them for grade 1. They are
too difficult for the class I had last year and they were a very bright class.
So I know that I can not try them with this class. My book is at school, I will
try to attach one as a sample and you can try it with your class.

I don't have a site, either. I bought a book of word ladders from scholastic. Hope you can find it on their site.

I don't have a site but I ordered the magnetic word ladder from Scholastic a couple of years ago and love it. We use it during guided reading groups as a mini lesson. I've also put it in a center, which is handy.

This site has a few from the Scholastic book (I think) for you to try out: lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/yhst-6960596270143/104653.pdf
They seem hard!
