Naked snowman?

I've seen the great ideas for the turkeys, Santas, and gifts. Do any of you have any ideas about doing a naked snowman? I need a project for January. TIA

I have a snowman glyph activity. I'll have to look around and find it. The way it works is that students get a blank snowman and then add scarf, hat, buttons, mouth, nose, eyes and so on based on things they like to do, all related to winter. For instance, favorite way to warm up on a cold day...if you like to drink hot chocolate, add a green scarf, if you like to sit by a fire, add a red scarf, if you like to wrap up in a blanket, add a blue scarf. It's really cute - I'll look for it!

I don't have the snowman pattern saved, sorry. I know you can find one online really easily. Here are the glyph instructions.

Snowballs

I usually wait until it gets pretty snowy in our area to do this (end of Jan/beginning of Feb) but I read the story Snowballs by Lois Ehlert. We talk about the different things that were used to build the snowmen in the story. Then I send home a the snowman pieces and the letter that I attached to this. They are super cute! Hope that helps!

I found this .pdf online that has a pattern like the naked turkey and naked Santa. I like using regular construction paper for this project though. The glue seems to stick better. Here are some pictures of finished products from another classroom. They added poems to theirs which is really cute!

The poems and snowman are too cute! Thanks for sharing. My ideas are "cooking" away now.
