What are your thoughts on this?

I can see both sides of the issue. I also don't know that I would only put my stuff on a purchase site only. I love PT too much to not share my ideas.

Great idea -- wish I made enough money to buy them! Seriously, I've thought about selling my lesson plans. Many other teachers at my school use my plans and I really ought to be getting something for my work. Ideas are fine to share on PT, but I have no problem selling a written lesson plan for money.

Time to give back

I have gotten so much from more experienced educators over the years that I feel it's time to give to the next generation. Nobody ever charged us for help when we were getting started.

borrowed so much from other teachers. I wouldn't feel right making money on something I created, especially if it is a mixture of original and borrowed thought. We need to collaborate so no one is re-creating the wheel! Share, people, share! It makes us all better!
