Thanksgiving week acitivities

Does anyone have good Thanksgiving week activities for the reading block. I would rather not do the story from our basal since it is only a 3 day week.

You could do a Turkey Glyph, and then have the kids write about their answers. There are plenty of them out there. I like the activities on mathwire.com

Next week I'll be reading
A Turkey for Thanksgiving by Eve Bunting, and/or
How Many Days To America?: A Thanksgiving Story by Eve Bunting and Beth Peck

There are activities to go with both books. Some skill work, some writing, some "fun" word searches, etc.
