Has anyone ever funded their own proposal? I have five days left on mine and found out today that it is eligible for a "Double Your Impact" deal. There was about $100 left on it with the deal. I donated enough to get it down to $50. I was thinking about funding the rest if no one else does. Is that weird? I would spend about $100 for a $350 proposal.

I feel better know that I'm not the only one! It turns out that I won't have to do that though. My proposal was fully funded last night!

I got a Flip video camera! I can't wait to start teaching the kids how to use it. I want them to record themselves reading and talking about their reading with a partner. I want them to video tape special events while at school so I can add their clips to our end of the year video too.
