Scholastic vs ABC teach

Does anyone have any insight on ABC teach or Scholastic? I am considering signing up, but am wondering if one is better than the other or if there is another site that i should look into. One of my team has a membership to Edhelper and really likes it. Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks!

I belonged to ABC teach last year, but I didn't renew. It seemed like they never had what I needed, and then I could find it free on-line. I don't know much about Scholastic. It seems like Edhelper pops up a lot on searches.

I think edhelper has a lot more stuff. Depending on what you're looking for, you can find a lot of things free online.

I have scholastic. It's decent. Once you figure out how to search it correctly, it can save alot of time. It will give you one worksheet, then the above and below level as well for alot of things. They have a good variety-activities, worksheets, clipart in every subject from what I have seen for my level (3rd). They also have the mini books which I think comes with the printable subscription.

Scholastic.

Their worksheets are more applicable to standards-based instruction. ABC teach feels more like "busy work" dittos.

I have been subscribing to abcteach.com for several years and I love it. It has a lot to offer. They are continuously adding new material and you receive updates. They have shapebooks with or without lines, center ideas, test taking practice, games, fonts, powerpoints, word searches which you can create your own list, crosswords with you can also create your own, etc. etc. etc. It is more aligned to the specific grade more so than edhelper. I did not care for edhelper because of the pop-ups and material was not at grade level and it caused me to do additional searches to meet the needs of my 3rd graders. abcteach is worth the money. It's a good place to go to find just about anything. Good luck and I hope this helps.

I have a subscription to abcteach, scholastic mini books and printables, enchantedlearning, and edhelper *school pays for edhelper and enchanted learning. I find a lot of things to use on scholastic and abcteach. Edhelper is good for the upper grades.
