Holiday Program

We are planning our Christmas program and I have been asked to help come up with the "Welcome" from the Kindergarten students. Does anyone have any suggestions on how our Kindergarten can Welcome everyone to our Holiday program? Our theme is Christmas around the world but we want a cute and fun welcome!

Are you picking one of the countries? If so, have them make shakers and sing Feliz Navidad.

Find out how to say "hello" in other languages and have the children welcome the parents that way

My school is a K-4 school. We do a Holiday program too, and our K kids do the welcome. We have about 80 k kids. So we have all the k. kids stand just off stage; and in groups of 5 they go up on stage to the microphone and say "hello and welcome" in a foreign language then take their spot on the risers on stage. This year we have 18 different "hello and welcomes". When everyone is on stage we sing the following littel ditty:

Welcome, welcome to our show,
to our show, to our show

Welcome, welcome to our show,
Happy Holidays!

Then the K. kids sit down on the risers as the first grade kids put on a short holiday play then the K kids and the first graders all leave the stage area together.

I appreciate the ideas! I REALLY do! It is really difficult to come up with something for the little ones to do. Good sugesstions!!!!
