I needed some creative ideas so of course i'm coming to my proteacher friends . We have to do an enrichment cluster this christmas. Basically its a group of students who share an interest in a certain classroom depending on the book or subject and they get to go to the classroom of their choice to create a product based on a book. Well I need some creative ideas.

First I need a cute book. Our choice could be a Christmas book or it can be anything.

Then I need something the kids can make and take back to their class. We can do grades k-1 or 2-3.

I had thought about the following books--
A snowman named bob and then make a type of snowman.
A christmas bear named peef and then make a bear with a patch.
How did santa get his job?--but i couldn't think of a craft and i didn't want to do a worksheet.
But none of these were popping out at me. HELPPPPPPP..any idea or book will help! Need by this afternoon

If You Take a Mouse to the Movies---make popcorn, maybe do garland with popcorn and cranberries

I can't remember the book I use, but it has a snowglobe in it-- we make snowglobes either from baby food jars or construction paper and saran wrap.

Frosty the Snowman-- make snowman

The Jacket I Wear In Snow-- cut out clothing items and have them dress a snowman

Any of the Gingerbread books-- decoate gingerbread boys made out of construction paper or real cookies

Santa books-- use cotton balls to make a santa beard and hat

For the snowglobe, make a paper base, make a constuction paper circle, put in the white confetti, put on the plastic wrap with tape, then put on a full sheet of construction paper. You could make a mirror image as well. Cut out the circles, put in snow, put plastic wrap around them, and then glue them back to back. Both work pretty well. Good luck!
