Scholastic Online Parent Ordering

I set up parent online ordering before school started, and my parents ordered online for October. I have parents that want to order for November, but they are being told that our username and password will no longer work. Do we need to change it each month? I emailed Scholastic but their response was how to set up a new account, which I don't need to do. Can anyone help me?

No, it should be the same acct and you should not have to change it each month. I set an acct up at the beginning of the year and I just used it again, no problems.

I am on my 3rd online order and the log on & password have stayed the same. Did you set up the new orders? I have to go in each month and put the catalog numbers in so my parents can order?

Yes, I have put the catalog numbers in. I went in as though I was a parent and put in the username and password and it says it has been disabled or something to that effect. When I contacted Scholastic they just responded by giving me instructions to set up as though I am a new user. I will have to keep playing with it to see if I can get it to work. It is very frustrating for myself and my parents.

Call their 800 # and talk to customer service. They were very helpful when I was having an online ordering problem.

I called with a problem and they helped me. They were very helpful and kind. Also, their hours are very nice too. I called from home in the evening. Also, I complained that the teachers in my school think that their site is not very user friendly. They told me that they are changing over their book ordering to a new system and are hoping everyone will be on it by the end of the year. It sounded like we would not have to enter codes anymore because all the catologs will just be available to order with dollars or bonus points.

I've been using online parent ordering since sometime last school year. A few times I forgot to edit my order due date so parents received error messages when they tried to log in. If you've got all your settings correct, you should not have to open a new account - and I'd keep asking for help from Scholastic until you find someone who can talk you through any adjustments you need to make on your end. Definitely call them. They are very helpful on the phone and will stick with you until the problem is solved. The email response may be automatically generated and not handled by a real person. Double check your username and password. My username somehow got slightly changed (not by me) over the summer. Maybe it has something to do with the big change someone mentioned.
