Santa Card Holder

OK.....if you can help me with this project, you're like me, older than dirt!!! But hey, it's a cool one. I don't remember the exact procedure......Take a coat hanger and a 12" strip of red bulletin board paper. Cover the hanger in a way that the paper folds over the hanger to make what will be the hat. The dangling part of the paper is folded to make a pocket for cards. A plaimn white paper is used for the face and cotton balls for the beard......sound familiar to anyone????I did it in the late 70's early 80's...........

Yes, I have heard of it. I remember a colleague doing it with her class many many moons ago. (Yes, I'm older than dirt!) But I can't remember how she did it.

It is a cute project and hope someone on here remembers how to do it.

Good luck.

My daughter informed me last week that she learned in school that dirt is 38 years old, therefore, I am older than dirt.

I remember the Reindeer and Santa on a hanger but both projects were not card holders. You could combine the Paper plate Santa and the hanger Santa to make the card holder? Just use chinet paper plates ;they are perfect for that.

I appreciate all the support and I think I'll go with the paper plate idea......it's nice to know there are a lot of good "older than dirt" teachers out there giving their best every day!!
