Help! Observation tomorrow.

I will be getting observed tomorrow. This is my first evaluation this year. I will be teaching math, skip counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's.

I was wondering if you have any really cool activities that I can incorporate with my lesson.
I already do number of the day, and I make the kids tell me what is 2 more, 5 more, and 10 more than the number, and also 2 less, 5 less, and 10 less than the number.

What are some other ways, I can really make this interesting and different for both my students and my principal.

Thanks so much.

You can have the kids come up to the front of the room to see how many shoes, hands, eyes, ears, etc. there are in total. Same for fingers and toes which can be used to count by 5s and 10s.

What a great idea?

I had not thought of that.

I was just trying to find something different in addition to using the hundreds board.

Thanks

Tie in coins.... sit or stand in circle, pass out nickels, and count by 5's OR each hand is a five... Do the same with dimes and 2 hands = 10...

You sit in a circle and count. but you can't say multiples of a certain number. so if you say multiples of 3 it would be 1,2,buzz,4,5,buzz,7,8,buzz.....
I hope you understand what I mean. The kids enjoy the game and it can be played whole group and small group.
