I need to put up a winter theme or Christmas bulletin board and I'm working with the kids on figurative language write now. Any ideas on some kind of project I could have them put up for display? I'm trying to think of a way to use snowmen, but I'm stumped. Any help would be soooooo appreciated!

Usually in January, we practice writing "winter similes and metaphors". We use blue construction paper and chalk. Kids write their similie or metaphor at the bottom using a thin, black marker. Then they illustrate their sentence with white chalk. They look really nice in the hall with a sign that simply says....."Winter Similies and Metaphors".
