Clip to ScrapBook #1

Hi,

I am looking for a good dry erase board that I can use at my guided reading table that will sit on the actual table (not an easel for the floor). Does anyone know where I could order a good one from??

Thanks!

I wrote on the table and my kids had a fit! Haha!! I just use a lapboard. I work with a couple of groups and when I am finished with a group my slow writers can just take the lapboard to their seat and finish their journal work without holding up the next group.

We had some purchased for us last year that came from Really Good Stuff. It is also magnetic. I want another for the other teacher that works in my room, but I have been told Really Good Stuff doesn't carry them anymore- I'm hoping someone knows a source, too!

I got a small easel to sit on top of the table last year from Scholastic's bonus points catalog. However, I've found it's a little too big to use at a kidney shaped table during GR. Now, I just use one of the student dry erase boards.

You could buy some shower board from Lowe's or Home DePot. They will cut it to any size you want. You could even use it as a table top for your reading table.
