What months are the busiest and slowest for subbing? For me, September is slow.

It is always slowest after a holiday here-- September is terrible, after Thanksgiving, after Christmas break, after spring break.... It slows down in June but not nearly as bad as September.

I've gotten at least 2 calls every night and 5 every morning on an almost daily basis, with the exception of the first 4 days back from Christmas vacation.

The months that are super busy for me are the months where the teachers have IEP meetings and testing (September, October, January). Also, towards the end of the year Last year, February was REALLY SLOW!!! I think I worked about 5-6 days the whole month but this year, February is looking good I hope it stays busy (fingers crossed).

the only time I'd call "slow" (meaning really poor paycheck) is mid-Dec to mid-Jan...so much of that is Christmas break and it seems there are not too many out just before or just after break.
