Good morning! I'm searching for songs that we (5th grade teachers- 1 man and 5 women) can lip sync/sing at our TCAP Pep Rally next month. I found the older posts and suggestions from 2009, but was wondering if anyone had ideas with newer/current songs??? Thank you so much!!!! Gigi

I know at our school my students sing Lean on ME. They love it. My school also made up a cute little PSSA song that all of the student sing each morning.

Well...a few years ago I came up with a brainstorm to play an oldie for my students. "All Fired Up" by Pat Benatar-We were getting "all fired up" to show everyone what we know for testing!

I will be honest, at first they looked at me like I had lost my mind because they had never heard of it...but there is a really good build up in the song to where the kids could join in and yell "ALL FIRED UP"!

Low and behold...the the next day -the first thing they wanted to know was..."Are we going to listen to your song? Can we sing too?" It has been a hit ever since and the new students that we get each year ask if they get to listen to it as well!!!!

I don't know if it will work for your students-but it is a hit with ours!
