What are your teacher bathrooms like?

Ours are clean but out of the way so most of us just use the kid's bathroom. Many are disgusting! But who has time to go all the way to the staff room?

very small and utilitarian. There is another available part time that is a little bigger--you just can't depend on it being open once you get there.

I have used our student restrooms--ours must be the exception. I have never had a problem. They may get a few paper towels and water splashes all over but it is clean--just messy.

Any problems we have had with urine or feces are few and far between.

The one teacher bathroom we have in our school is a long way away from my classroom. I rarely have time to go all the way down there, so I just use the student bathrooms. The teacher bathroom is very very clean, just too far away. The students restrooms are clean, just a little messy from time to time.

At the 2nd school I taught at, the staff ladies room was decorated. So when I went to my 3rd school, I did a secret random act of kindness and brought in a mason jar of inexpensive artificial flowers and a box of tissues with a feminine design. When the box was empty, someone paid it forward and another one appeared! This continued on At my current school I put out small basket of fake flowers and a cute plaque, Teachers Touch Lives Forever.

but our student BR is well kept. We really don't have a problem with students making a mess, sometimes there's water or a few paper towels, but we make a big deal out of keeping it nice early in the year and they do. Plus we have an amazing janitor.

The bathrooms at my school are dirty. We are lucky if we have toilet paper and paper towels everyday. I do not think they clean them every night or week.

Our staff bathroom is on the other side of the building and one floor down. I use the student restroom and it is mostly clean and kept up. However, this year ..... I didn't know girls could be so gross and nasty sometimes. YUCK!

We don't have staff bathrooms at all. We must use student bathrooms. I share a single ladies room with the teacher/class next door. There is also a single boys room that is shared. They are kept very clean by the students and staff. Our students sign out to use the bathroom so if there is a problem, we know who to blame.
The restroom in the main building is used by more people. By the end of the day it might be messy, but it's cleaned everyday.

Exceptionally clean, well supplied. We have hot water and the towel and foam soap dispensers are always filled. There is extra TP, air freshener, and a little table with flowers and teachers take turns supplying hand lotion.

One of the teachers brought in a nice marble topped chest with drawers. There's greenery and a vase of flowers.

The teachers have supplied Bath and Body Works lotions kept in a wicker basket as well as a basket of mints.

There's also nice bottles of soaps on the sinks which have amazingly hot water.

There's an nice tapestry chair in there as well as a rack of books that the teachers leave after they are done reading them at home. It's kind of give and take.

Someone put quaint signs on each of the stalls doors that say "diva" and "princess".

It's really adorable what they've done to an otherwise not so wonderful restroom.

We have four staff bathrooms around our building. Each bathroom has staff notes on the wall (which I think is funny). They are very clean, have lotion and nice foam soap. Very convenient in our building.

Our bathrooms are truly gross and far, far away from my classroom.
We rarely have soap. I tend to bring soap and lotion to the bathroom and leave it there for everyone to share. For the most part, it is just frightening and I hate being in there.

Disgustingly dirty. Janitors wet-mop the floor, but miss a lot and leave smears. They pour sanitizer in the toilets, but don't scrub. The walls have layers of dust! The mirrors are spattered - always. Just gross.

Our staff bathroom is great. It is very clean. There are also some fake flowers and most importantly: air freshener. I am also very lucky to have my own restroom in my classroom.

We have two sets of staff bathrooms. One set on each floor. Our staff bathrooms aren't fancy, but we've added some storage for personal items, and we keep nice soap and air freshener in there.

The kid bathrooms are usually unkept, often out of paper, and always out of soap. Thankfully we have a air dryer, or we'd always be out of paper towels, too.

Most of the time I use the kid bathroom since it's easier to get to from my room. It's about the same distance as the staff bathroom, but I can get to it faster due to the traffic pattern in the hallway.

It was out of order for a while and we had to use the student bathrooms--a real eye-opener. I'm going to work on my girls (who aren't the only ones using the bathroom) to flush the toilets and clean up when they're there. Our janitors do a good job--but they aren't there during the day

(Note: I'm sure if the girls' bathroom was unpleasant, the boys' bathroom is even worse!!)
