Handwriting lines

Clip to ScrapBook #1

Help! I am so frustrated. I am trying to make handwriting lines, (the solid line with the dash line in the middle with a solid line again) and I can't seem to get the spacing right when I try to create one in WORD. I see all of these neat spelling pages that have been created where students can write their spelling words on the line. However, they are all PDF files and I can't copy and paste their lines. Do I need a program to make these types of lines? If you could help me it would be great.

Also, I would like to create configuration boxes for words if anyone knows how to do that too.

go check out this website http://www.downhillpublishing.com/fonts4teachers.cfm It has a program my mentor teacher told me to get, called fonts for teachers. You download it into word and then you can make those lines any size you want.

that I project on my projector and then write on the dry erase board. This way my lines, and letters are not crooked.

If you ever want to make the lines using Word, go to "insert shape" and insert a line. Copy and paste it 2 more times and adjust them on your page to where you want them. Then click on the middle line and right click to format it...choose dotted line.

Then go back and click each of the three lines holding down the shift key...copy and paste it as many times as you want.

Top line: Underscore across the page
Mid line: Underscore, space, underscore, space, etc...
Bottom line: Underscore across the page

After the top and bottom lines, when you hit enter, it will look weird. Hit backspace once and it will adjust itself.

HTH!

To create handwriting lines in Word, etc. Change the font to ZBPrintDotLine and repeatedly type SHIFT, Underscore. You should have your lines.....
