I just created this for my 5th graders. It may be adapted for other grade levels as well. Enjoy!

love the idea! just in time for my fraction unit week after next. do you have it in word so I can change a bit. we are not allowed to have any gummy food in our school.

Attached is the Word version.

Also, in art that week, I think we are going to use fraction circles downloaded from http://www.superteacherworksheets.co...ioncircles.pdf to create Fraction Art (an idea I saw on PT over the summer!).

If I remember correctly, the teacher had the students use the various fraction circles to create an art project on construction paper and go back and write what fractions they used.

mine is for the week after next as well. We will be doing that during our Math lesson on that Friday, which just so happens to be the day before Spring Break vacation.

I will be using this as well! Should have done this on thousandth day when I made stew with a total of 8,000 items! Maybe next year...

This is a really great idea for fractions! We have already done fractions, but its a good idea for reviewing.
