Does anyone have a printable of the digits of Pi? I found one earlier today and saved it to my documents so that I could continue searching to see what else is out there. I did find one other, that had a green background and my computer stalls when I click on it (so don't try that one if you are looking). I went back to the one I had saved so that I could print it and it comes up in a different language. Now I can't find the site that had it. I just want to print out the digits so that I can hang it up when I do my lesson on Monday. I even went to a teacher supply store today to see if I could buy one - nothing there and no time for online ordering. Does anyone have one?
Google pi or maybe circumference PowerPoints. If you find a slide that has information you like, you can print it up as a single page or you can revise it to fit your own needs.
Monica Yuskaitis makes great math powerpoints. You can google her name to see what comes up for you. (Hope I spelled her name correctly!)
Another thought: Try 'Google Images' to see if you track down a pi poster.
For Pi day (we celebrated on Friday) I printed this one. You cannot really see all the digits in the background but they are there so I emailed it to my students (well, parents) so that they can enlarge it: http://unihedron.com/projects/pi/ As I hit send, dh said, "You are such a geek" to me.
Alicia - your "geek" comment made me laugh. When I went back to school as an adult, I normally did pretty well. My sister always knew when I had a test, quiz or grade and would always ask how I did. I would send her my grade and the email reply that I would receive back from her would simply be "GEEK"
