I am wanting to do more with my math next year by having groups rotating as well as whole group instruction. Does anyone have any links, files, or book recommendations? I am clueless as to where to begin. TIA!

When you post a question like this grade level may be important information to include. Info. I have is mostly for first grade. Here is a link, for example:

I read your post and have struggled with the same thing. This year I am changing the way I store and use my math manipulatives. My school uses Everyday Math and I just keep all the manipulatives on shelves. I saw a picture on the internet somewhere of another approach. Using small plastic bins (they look like small laundry baskets) divide up the manipulative according to the units in the Everyday Math book. DUH! In these buckets she stores literature books that deal with the same concepts, small games, activities and manipulatives. This way the kids can go get the bucket that their skill level warrants and work from it. I love this idea!!!! I hope you do too.
