Anybody have a resource for cold read passage tests?

I'm looking for some sort of resource with 4th grade level reading passages. I want these to be "cold reads", meaning it will be state-test style, and the student won't have seen the text before the test. I would love to find a passage that matches well with 4th grade skills (one passage for context clues, one passage for summarize, etc.) Anybody know of a great website or book I can get?

The six minute solution are practice passages- you could use them like cold timings if you wanted to.

I used them this year- I jumped around with the passages and put them with what ever theme they went with that we were studying.

If you google "released test questions" you'll get a bunch like that. That's how we have some of ours that we use. Our school is big on "cold" passages!

Go to:

easycbm.com

You'll have to register but it's well worth it. There are different grade leveled tests there! Have fun!

Thank you so much for all the great ideas! I have used my own state's test passages in the past, but I like the variety of other possibilities. Now to go searching through the links...
