Clip to ScrapBook #1

After years of searching I finally found a free font that is identical to the d'nealian printing we teach. Yahoo!! I tested every letter and the only thing not perfect is the small q but it's almost perfect. The font is called Block Letters Tryout and can be found on this page...

Enjoy! I hope it makes you as thrilled as it did to me!!!

I was hoping that you could give me some help on how to download the fonts. I looked at the microsoft site and it has info for Word 2007 and 2010. Mine is XP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

XP refers to your Windows Operating System not Word.

When you start Word a window should popup breifly to say what version you are using.

If not then if there is a tab for "Help" click it and se it there is and "About" option or "Version".

I use 2007 and I have to click on the circle in the upper left hand corner and then go to Word Options and then resources to see what version I am using. This "route" only applies to 2007.

Also, if you have the Word icon on your desktop right click on the icon and then go to "Properties" - I believe it might say the year there as well.

After you figure out what version of Word you have you can go back to the Microsoft Office site to help you.

Hope this helps!
