Clip to ScrapBook #1

I've lost my Five Finger Retelling page. I've been looking but can't find. Does anybody have a link to this Five Finger Retelling page.
Thanks

Talk to the Hand...

I'm not sure if this is along the lines of what your page was or not...but this is what I have...Talk To The Hand

I have a gardening glove, and on each finger I have written a "W" question...

Who?
What?
When?
Where?
Why?

Then on the palm, I have written How?
Hope this is of some help.

I have never seen this idea before. Thank you for sharing. It is perfect to glue into the front of my students' home reading logs. This is going home today!

I like the visual guide for retelling a story. This idea will be of great help for my second graders.

Thank you.

I was going to teach a story structure lesson and I plan on using the glove. Thank you for sharing! It is really cute and I think it will help the students summarize the text.

I printed this last night, did a mini lesson on it after a read=aloud this morning and posted it in my listening center for the students to use after they've listened to the story. I was thrilled to hear my students accurately discuss the story components. Thank you so much for sharing this great resource. I PT!

I've used this strategy before, but never had such cute handouts. Mine was only black and white.
