I am having my kids make gingerbread house frames for a parent gift and was wondering if anyone knew of a little poem that might go along with it? I was thinking something about being sweet or something like that lol any ideas?

I made a house of gingerbread.
It was so sugary sweet.
It took me all day long to make.
But, it lasted just a week.
Monday I ate the ceiling.
Tuesday I ate the door.
Wednesday I ate the windows.
Thursday I ate the floor.
Friday I ate all four walls.
Saturday I ate the lawn.
Sunday I licked up all the crumbs.
My gingerbread house is gone!

It is from bulletin board ideas. Put this all together before the .org. It won't let me post it the other way, sorry

Here's another cute one:
Gingerbread children
Stand in a row
Very good children
Always, you know.
They never will jump
Or kick or leap
Or start to cry
When it’s time to sleep
They never run off
Or look around
No one has heard them
Make a sound
Gingerbread children
Are fine to meet
Much better still
They’re good to eat!
