I recently bought an electric mini muffin maker. I think it makes 7. None of the included recipes sound good, do any of you have any easy, tasty recipes?? I want to try it and I am hoping it is worth it!(Bought on sale at Macy's....won't have to light the oven!)) Thanks.

I will be interested in the response you get. I have considered one of these every time I see them in the newspaper. They look interesting!

I acually bought 2 at WalMart for my daughters for Christmas!!!They are wrapped. Then, I went to Macy's and found it for $7 less, but different brand and it makes 1 less!! I was hoping to find a recipe that would make less than 36 or so that a mix would make. I guess I could 1/2 it!! If we don't get any ideas here I will experiment next week when I am off school and let you know!!

Recipes for mini cupcake maker

I have used several cake mixes in this cupcake maker. I just this cupcake maker all the time with children. They help me make the batter and then play with pretend cupcake bakery materials while I bake their cupcakes. This way they get to smell the cupcakes, frost, and decorate them before they just eat them.

Since I don't like a lot of left overs and I don't think parents want to have their children eating a bunch of cupcakes I separate the packaged mix into thirds in sandwich bags. Then the children add 1 egg, 2 T. oil, and 1/3 cup of water (I sometimes add just a tad more water if the dough seems thick.) I cook the cupcakes for around 5 minutes. They have always come out great.

I am going to try some muffin recipes soon to see how they come out.

If anyone has other suggestions I would love to hear them. I love this little cupcake maker. I can take it with me and works great to work with children.
