Can anyone recommend a collection of short levled texts-both non fiction and fiction-for use during guided reading? I do pull excerpts from an old basel, but find reading A to Z books to be too long. I like using the comprehension tool kit. I am really looking for one stop shopping so to speak...thanks!

Rigby has great Guided Reading books! I am most familiar with the "On Our Way to English" set. They have very engaging non-fiction books complete with diagrams, tables, timelines, etc. The fiction is pretty good too.
