Does anyone know of a site or link that has interactive graph paper? I'm doing a lesson on perimeter and would love to be able to project something onto the screen to help!

TIA!

I can't access the SB Tools anymore since I don't have the program on this computer. I think there was some with their tools. Do you have a SB?

This site has lots of graph paper. Maybe you could download into a power point presentation? Or, do you have an ELMO?

If anyone knows of a site, I'd be interested also.

Try the National Library of Virtual Manipulatives: http://nlvm.usu.edu/en/nav/vlibrary.html

I couldn't find graph paper, but if type "perimeter" in the search then it gives you some choices. I wonder if you could use the Geoboard under "Geometry K-2" section and just say "units" for the label?

Here is a link to free PDF files for graph paper, but it's not 'interactive'... http://www.incompetech.com/graphpaper/

Here is a link to download software for free - it sounds like what you might want, but I have never used it...

This is a great interactive for perimeter and area:

This one is also very simple but easy to use:

When i need "interactive" graphing paper I copy a image of graphing paper, which can easily be found on Google images, into paint. Works for straight lines but gets tricky with curves.

The Department for Education and Science (DfES, UK) provides lots of free interactive teaching programs (ITP) which are great and safe to run or download. To play, you will need Adobe flash player or similar on your computer. You can download one from the same site if you need to.

There's an ITP for area and perimeter and lots of others. http://www.iwbmathstraining.co.uk/ol...0-%20dfes.html

On the homepage there is also a link to a guide you can download to explain how the ITPs can be used.
