Derek, definitely. I rarely hear or see that name these days.

I've had one of each in class! But I think I've seen Derek more often.

I know one Derrick and one Derek (a good friend's five-year-old).

And of course, one of my absolute favorite men in the world:
Derek Jeter!

Definitely Derek! Derrick made me automatically think of an oil derrick. I don't remember ever seeing Derrick as the spelling for the name. I've seen it spelled Derek many times, and Darek and Derik.

Back in the day, , I knew Derricks. I think Derek may be a more modern way of spelling it because the little guys seem to be spelled that way.

DH's name is Derek. Personally I dislike the way Derrick looks. It's too many letters.

I've seen more Dereks, though.

I've seen it spelled both ways, but I think I see "Derek" most often, which I prefer.

I've never seen it spelled Derek (except for Jeter, of course)! I've always seen it Derrick. Of course I'm from Texas and there are oil derricks all over the place, so maybe that's why!
