Valentine No-Homework Coupons

I'm not sure where I got the poem, so I'm sorry I can't give credit where it is due. In skimming through the posts, here, others have mentioned giving "no homework" coupons for Valentine's Day which reminded me of the ones I've used in the past. They've always been very well received !!

Thanks Risa,
I always give NO HOMEWORK valentines out too ...but I didn't have a "cute" poem to go along with it! The kids do love them.

If you're interested, there are other coupon styles with the same poem here:

Thanks for the referral to Tammy's site! Her coupons are much more colorful and appealing than the ones I made!! Several years ago she and I communicated back and forth, but it's been a long time since I heard from her and a long time since she updated her site. In the long lapse of time, I had lost the link! She is VERY creative! I'm guessing she must be the one who created the poem!

If you want more delightful odds 'n ends of printable "Free Goodies" she created using the "D.J. Inkers" graphics, check out this link, too! Her work is irresistable!

I really like the idea and my kids will LOVE it. But do you put restrictions on the assignment that it can be used for? I'm afaid that they may use it on an assignment that would be particularly helpful or that it would keep them from being prepared for the next day. Especially since We're prepping for the BIG test.
I will frequently give a blanket "no homework" for the whole class, and you would think they won the lottery! In that case I can make sure that the work is made up in some other manner.

Happy Valentine's Day
