Clip to ScrapBook #1

Our school theme next year is Reading Round up. If you have any ideas, pictures, anything I would greatly appreciate your help. I am at a loss for a welcome bullentin board and other decorating ideas.
Thanks in advance.

But this kind of lends itself to a western/rodeo theme.

Use burlap on bulletin board with a bandana border or a denim fabric background with sisal rope border.

Sounds like a rootin' tootin' good time.

I believe the Upstart site (library/reading themes) has a western reading theme.

Fourth grade at my school used this them the past two years. My welcome back board was
"Fourth grade is a great place to hang your hat" I had a real cowboy hat hanging. I took pics of each student and used cowboy hat cutouts to top off the pics - hung them on the board -
The year before I had a cowboy riding a horse with a huge lasso - stick cowboys and cowgirls with students names written on them were being roped. My AR board had a cowboy with a huge lasso roping in 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and met goal - I used stick cowboy figures. Hope this helps
