I just was told I had to write a welcome parents letter.

Can someone help me, give me ideas of what to write!?

I got this off PT a few years back. Kuddos to original writer. I tweaked it to fit my situation.

August 2011

Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year. I would like to introduce myself. My name is _______and I will be one of your child’s teachers this school year. I have been a teacher for ____ years and have worked with children at all age levels. I am confident my experience and background will provide your child with a positive educational experience.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me by email or by calling the school. The school’s phone number is: _______. I look forward to meeting you and I am delighted to work with your child this school year.
