What Clip Art can I use?

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I love all the cute clip art that I see everyone using on all the great blogs and Teachers Pay Teachers items etc. I'd love to create some things that I can share on my blog (and maybe eventually on TPT) but I don't know which clip art sets I can do that with. I'm paranoid of posting something using someone's clip art and then getting in trouble!

So, if you use clip art for games, documents, blogs, TPT, etc... which ones are the best, and okay to use!?

I pay for my clip art and get it from d.j.inkers. When I want a specific image I google it and click on images. When I see one I like I click on it and see if it is a copyright image. If it is I move on. There are many images that are free on the web, you just have to take the time to look for them. It's a lot of fun too! Good luck I can't wait to see your blog. I have one, 1st grade learning stars . blog spot . com (with no spaces)

Thanks Calecolts1! I'm now a follower of your blog!
My blog is
apples-and-chalk-dust (dot) blogspot (dot) com

So how can you tell if an image is copyrighted?

that I see used on TPT and different blogs comes from scrappindoodles and digiwebstudios.
Both sites have kid friendly clip art that is very reasonable (some just $1.00) when it comes to prices. I am always searching for great clip art. Just be aware that you will become addicted!

Clker

That website is where I get my art. I also downloaded a free graphics program so that I can customize the art. I seldom use it "as is".
The program is called inkscape.

LinzRae, I just joined your blog also, I'm elmo!!!! Anyway, to tell if the image is copy righted, click on the image and it will come up in another window then look around on the site that opened up. It's usually on the bottom of the site. If I see something that I'm not sure about I may dig a bit deeper or just forget about it and try another image. Play around with it and you will see what I'm talking about.
