We are looking for third grade language arts and math I Can Statements for the common core. Does anyone use these or do you know where we can look for these, so we can post these in our lesson plans and in our classroom? Any help would be appreciated.

Question-

If you look at the bottom of the page, it says page updated May, 2006.

Are these aligned with the new common core standards, do you think?

Or are they outdated?

These links may be outdated, but they would at least provide a starting point. Especially since the CCSS have remixed the curricular content at each grade level, having access to all of these I CAN statements for a variety of grade levels is helpful!! You can probably just do some tweaking to make them work.

We are being asked to post our standards as well. The examples have been in I can statements. I just don't like this. Anyone else? What if a student can't yet. I have been typing mine up using I will.

Thanks for posting! I agree some of these may be outdated, but it definitely gives a good sample of how they should be written.

I went to SunDevilMom's site and love it, but it is based on a 9 week period. Does anyone know of I Can Statements for Math based on a six weeks period?
