My background is in Investigations and Math Workshop. After teaching primary, this will be my first year in fifth grade. Our district, just like a bunch of others, adopted Envision. I own my own set of Investigations and I'm trying to figure out the best way to merge the three together (although Investigations IS really MW). Any suggestions?

I've never used Math workshop before so I can't speak on that, but I have used Envision math, which I do like and Investigations, which I also like. I would say that envision math doesn't have enough hands on activities for during the lesson to extend students thinking. You may want to consider using Investigations for the hands-on stuff and Envision math for the everyday teaching.

My school district worked out how to merge the two. The problem is I don't have a hard copy of it right now and also my district's curriculum plan is currently offline. I can email it to you if you pm me and give me your email address once I get a hold of it.

I would be pleased if I could get a copy of your district's curriculum plan. My school is currently working on how to implement both enVision and Investigations into the classroom (K-5). Please let me know if it is possible to peak at your site's ideas. Thanks!
