For all of you Treasures users. I found this site and they have the attached documents for each story. I was going to create a focus wall and think these will help me. Hope someone else can use this information.

This is a great resource! We've been using Treasures for a few years now. This is something I can really use. Thanks for posting!

I am a first grade teacher and not currently using Treasures. We still have Open Court, but I'm looking into other curriculum. I work at a small private school. I was hoping to borrow lists of spelling words from Treasures. I saw that you said students could read from the Treasures curriculum online, but after looking at the link you gave, I didn't find it. Can you help me with this? Thanks

When you purchase the series they give you a username and password to the textbooks. I have created the attached list with the spelling and high frequency words. Hope this helps.

Thank you, thank you! I have been investigating all day and did finally discover that I would need a password to get further in the anthologies for Treasures. I don't think my small school will order Treasures this year because of the cost. We have the Open Court materials. I know Treasures replaced Open Court. I'm trying out Daily 5 for the first time and will pick and choose from Open Court and Read Well I guess. I will use your spelling words and hope that all works together well. I see a lot of people are using Treasures. I looked at study done by a panel of educators in Alabama regarding Reading Curriculum. Treasures rated pretty highly. I am new to the ProTeacher site and love it already! Thanks again.

We just started using Treasures last year. The stories you have are not the same as ours. We have the California edition. Do you have a website for that edition?

Sorry kindlady, only found that one. Take a look at the yahoo group for treasures. They have groups specific to each edition. You may find a California Treasures school or teacher that has already done the work.
