Look for printable desk plates

I am looking for name desk plates that I can print instead of buying those expensive ones from the teacher store.

I would like them to have the alphabet, hundreds chart, number line, etc on them. Anyone have something like this this is appropriate for 2nd graders?

Hi!
I dont have "printables" to offer you, but I do have a teacher tip. I got tired of the students "picking at" the name plates that i put on their desks each year, so i came up with an altenative. I glued letter strips, hundreds charts and a number line to card stock and double laminated them. I keep them on a shelf, and distribute them when they are needed. They stay in excellent shape (year after year) and even go home with students for homework or make-up work. Now, On their desk, is just their name...which still gets picked at...but at least they have the "tools" in good shape when they need them.

Have a great year!

Thanks! I have thought about doing a "mini office" kind of thing for Math only but I haven't been able to find the tools that I want that I can easily copy and paste into one document.

I will have to check Dollar Tree this week. Thanks for the tip!

Yes I did see these, thanks! I was hoping for something with a few more resources though. This one has numbers skip counting by 2 but not a number line.

One last splurge

A teacher in our building laminated her purchased desk plates and reuses them each year. Kids use dry erase markers or overhead markers to write names. Students know she reuses them to "help save the environment" so the kids are respectful and don't ruin them. Good luck.

I always laminate them also but there is no way they would be able to be used from year to year. Most kids are good with them, each year I have 1-2 that just destroy them. I like the one posted above. I am going to steal your hundreds chart since I couldn't find one that would work and try making my own name plates tonight....I'll post it if I get it to work as I want.

I did buy some at the Dollar Tree this afternoon but they don't have all the resources I want them to have so I will see if I can make some and return them if I do.

Thanks again!

Alright with the help of my wonderful husband I was finally able to make everything work and go to complete PDF.

It is for legal sized paper. I haven't printed it yet as I don't have any legal sized paper here.

I love all your name desk plates. Does anyone have one in which you can type in the student's name, and then print it out?
TIA

I can type the names in the word file for the ones I posted but only because I have the font that makes the line. I can't post the word file because unless you purchase the Fonts for Teachers you won't have the font for the alphabet line or the name box.
