We have testing coming up in a couple weeks. We would like to provide a little excitement about our testing days by using catchy slogans. Things like "Knock our socks off on the test" and that day we would wear funky socks. Do you have any suggestions? We need five all together.

We recently had our spirit week. I put ours here, plus two ideas from the past:

Hats off to you! (wear hats)
Shine on the test. (sunglasses)
Get plenty of rest for the test. (pj day)
Sock it to the test. (socks)
Wear clothing with numbers (in honor of taking the Math portion)
Wear clothing with words (in honor of the Comm. Arts portion)
Wear clothing with animals or weather (Science portion)

We gave a piece of candy with a slogan each day. If we make AYP this year our principal is going to take us to Six Flags.

1. Do well on your test "Now", and we will go to Six Flags "Later."
2. You were "Mint" to do well on this test.
3. Let's "Roll" thru the CRCT.
4. Here is a good luck "Kiss"
5. You are a "Smartie"

The teachers are also performing EOG Idol this year. The day before the test all 3-5 students will gather in the gym and watch their teachers make fools of themselves on stage.

We are singing as grade levels (7 teachers each) and I wrote a pretty great song (if I do say so myself) to the tune of Achy Breaky Heart. I don't know who is more excited- the teachers or the students!

we made fools of ourselves yesterday--Duh, or No Duh (take on Deal or No Deal). all of us ladies had cases with positive and negative tips for testing. and one of our male teachers wore a soul patch and bad wig--"open that case!"


a couple years ago, i wanted to have a hawaiian theme:
"lu-wow us with your test scores", but nobody bought it.

"you're so bright, you gotta wear shades"--we got to wear sunglasses for the days of our tests (just not during the tests)

"do your best on the test"

our grade level makes motivational t-shirts with puffy paint
