CampRead-A-Lot AR board needed

I have decided to do Camp Read-A-Lot as my theme. I do a bulletin board for my students who meet their AR goals. This year I used "Rockin' & Reading Toward Our Goal" with the Rock & Roll into Reading theme. When they met their goal they received a "platinum" record with their name on it to put up there. What can I use next year with the camping theme? I need something really catchy.

my classroom theme is camping this year. On my AR board, I used a red and white checked back ground to make it look like a picnic blanket. My saying was " AR is a Picnic". Every kid had a small paper plate with their names on it, and I pin their points on their plate. So, if Timmy has 23 points, I pin a 23 on his plate. I teach 1st grade, so this is a very visual way to display their points

How old are your students? You could put something like a trail and say "Hiking the AR Trail" and have the students move their figure up the trail as they earn points. You could make a mountain and have "Climbing the AR Mountain" or make a river and "Rafting the AR River"

Or you could do something totally different than those and have each kid have a hat or backpack or vest and earn "badges" for the books they read like campers often do especially at boy scout or girl scout camp. I know you can buy genre badge stickers or else you could just use simple stickers you already have.

These are great suggestions. I teach 6th grade. I also have 125 students. We are departmentalized. I really just want something where I can display when they make their goal. This year I put a silver record up when they met 35% of their goal, then a gold record when they met 70% of their goal, then the platinum when they met 100% of their goal. With 125 or so students, this takes a while. I would like to just be able to put their name up there when they reach their 100%. Thank you again for these wonderful ideas.

What about putting a tent in the woods when they reach their goal? Or making a mountain and placing a cut- out hiker at the top?
