Does anyone have a platinaire ring? I found an engagement ring that I like, but it is platinaire. I know it's a cheaper metal. I saw somewhere that it can turn your finger green until your skin gets used to it. Any thoughts?

Platinaire is a mix of silver and platinum. Its considered a green metal since it is made out of predominately recycled silver. Additionally its hypoallergenic since it doesn't contain nickel or other materials. My engagement rigmarole is platinaire and it patinas like any silver does, doesn't tarnish, and doesn't turn my finger green. If you wear a ring or other jewelry and it turns your skin green its fake. Nickel or other type of alloy. Stick with sterling white gold platinum or a mix of these and you will be fine.
