Making a classroom tree

Hi folks, I want to make a tree for my classroom wall but I am not very creative. I can usually make something if I can see it so if any of you have great trees you have made for your rooms, would you mind posting them so I can get some ideas?

projecting a tree picture that you like and trace it on a large piece of paper and laminate it to make it more sturdy?

There is a cute classroom family tree I pinned on Pinterest. Search Our Family Tree. It is made out of butcher paper.

How about a sono tube (not sure of the spelling..but its the tubes that make concrete pillars) painted brown or covered in burlap. IKEA has big leaves that are meant to be bed canopies.

Thanks to all of you for your helpful suggestions for making my classroom tree. The pictures that 1956 posted were very helpful and I've spent most of the day constructing the small tree with the gnarly roots on my bulletin board. I covered it with green leaves cut from three shades of green paper. The header says "Read to Grow" and I stapled colorful book covers around the tree. I will try to post a picture. I am tired but so, so happy with the results. Thanks all. PTers are the best.
