Binding cost at office depot or staples?

I have two 45 page documents I would like to turn in to a bound book (like the spiral thing binding machines do--nothing fancy). Has anyone ever had something bound at office depot or staples? I want to mentally prepare myself for the cost. Do you mind sharing how much you paid? Thank you.

I did this often last year, I want to say around $7-$12 a book, depending on the size of binding. If you already have them copied. This was for the card-stock cover, a clear plastic cover, and the binding. Make sure you get a large enough binding to open the book all the way flat if that matters to you. I made one to little and it is a pain to open.

Yes! I was the manager of the copy center at Office Depot for forever, and this is what it would have cost 2 years ago (so it may have gone up a few cents).
spiral binding <100 pages: $2.59
clear plastic cover: $0.50
black plastic back cover: $0.69

Like Amilya said, that doesn't include copying costs. I think it's $0.10/page now for black and white copies and $0.59 for color (unless you have a school discount. Mine is $0.03 bw and $0.29 color).

Hope this helps! I love spiral binding - I do it for EVERYTHING!

I just had three things bound at staples. They do it by thickness.

I do not remember the exact amount for each but it was 14 dollars and change total for:

2-200 page things including clear plastic cover and card stock backing

1-30 page thing with clear cover and card stock backing

Spiral bound

I would check with your school's office first. My old school had the machine and the spirals.

Thanks everyone. I started at office depot and they were able to
Put clear plastic at front and back and a spiral for about $3.50 for each book. They look great! I may start making books in the classroom for that price.
