SmartBoard for Back to School night

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I got a Smart Board in my classroom in February. I really love it! I was thinking it would be great to incorporate it into my Back to School night for parents. I was thinking some type of power point presentation. Does anyone have an example of a presentation you might have used? I am new to power point as well, but I think I can put together a presentation with some sort of guide.

Any information would be helpful....thank you!!!!

Here are three that I found with just a quick search. I'd love to do our Open House info. on mine, but all three grades meet in the gym, so it's not really possible. I may be able to set up an LCD projector and still do a powerpoint, though. I haven't looked through these completely, but they seemed pretty good.

You can create your own. The Gallery has lots of templates plus with the floating tools you can copy anything from anywhere. Even if it copyrighted- not that as teachers we would ever do such a thing in the name of education!

Also in the gallery is an online resources that has lesson plans from other teachers around the US and Canada. They may have something you could copy to your notebook.

I love my Smartboard- (we call them sympodiums)
I got one last November and still don't know how to do everything. I use mine almost everyday!
