Sports themed center ideas?

This year I am doing a sports theme in my 1st grade classroom. I have gotten TONS of information on everything. I am so excited! However, I would like to name my centers/literacy stations with some type of sport slogan or other? I have seen "Field of Dreams" for a reading area, but no others. Any ideas? I would appreciate any tip!
Currently, I have the following centers:
reading, writing, making words, spelling, language, fluency

Thanks!

using bats and balls or gloves and balls patterns write fact on one and then answer on another----need to match to correct one.

making words-----using a ball pattern cut a slit in the middle to put a strip. On the ball write the chunk of word. Ex: ___un Strip would have f, s, n, b, r. They could slide strip up and write word down on paper or dry erase board.

I'm tired and my brain is not working for any more ideas. If I come up with any I'll post again.

I am planning on a sports theme for my 2nd grade class and have the following planned. Some are not definite, but I am tossing them around.

Reading area: Reading Zone-put goalposts
Word Wall: A "hoop"ful of words or Catch a word
Student Work: Winning Work, or Something to Cheer About, or Cheer-ful Work, or Wall of Fame
News/Weekly Info: The Dugout
Behavior: Swinging for Good Behavior
Writing: Sliding into Writing (Baseball bases with steps)

Hope this helps. Some (most) are pretty corny!

I used this theme with my second graders last year and they loved it. I made jerseys (foam) with numbers and their names for their lockers. They thought they were so special! All year we were known as TEAM TRAPP. Our reading area was "The Dugout."

Field of Dreams is cute. Maybe you could look up old sports movies like Field of Dreams and find some more ideas.
