Just had to share with all my teacher colleagues--finally, someone created a product I've been wanting for years! Removable, repositionable, reusable bulletin board letters! Made by Pacon (www.pacon.com) I found them at my local teacher store. They come in 4" or 2", many colors. They are more sticky than a "post-it" but don't leave any residue behind. I can't wait to go do my bboards now!
I wonder if that's the same ones I just got yesterday, although mine aren't really "sticky". Mine have animal print on them, and they're the 4" size. I'm so excited about them! Normally I just use our ellison machine, but these are much easier!
What's a circut machine? Is that like a die cutter?
Susan, I didn't see animal print--were they by Pacon? I do an ocean theme, and I'm always looking for new ideas. I checked Pacon's website, and unfortunately they don't sell from it, their products have to be purchased in stores.
How much were the removable bulletin board letters? I will have to go and see if my teacher store has them. I'm sure they are worth the cost. They sound like they would make my life a lot easier .
No, I checked and mine is from Frog Street Press. Mine aren't the sticky letters, so I guess it's different entirely. I just like the fact that I don't have to cut them out - and they're animal print! They had other patterns as well.
It is an automatic die cutter and shape cutter. It works on "chips". I got the "Learning Curve" chip. I must have the lower case a right!
I also have a chip that cuts animals and book marks! It was pricy (that is why I gotitfor my bday and Anv.!) but worth it.
I haven't gotten any for myself yet but discovered them when our church decorated for VBS. They seem really neat. I am not sure of the brand name there though but they claimed they were not that expensive.
The Pacon removable bb letters were $8.99 for 159 characters. That was the 2" size, and it comes with upper case, numbers, and punctuation marks. www.pacon.com does not sell direct to the public, but they have a button where you can locate retail stores.
Do those letters stick to fabric? I saw those in my teacher store, right next to the ones I got, but I wanted to make sure they'd adhere to the fabric on my bulletin boards.
