My darlings were running on audio all day! I am a firm believer in the full moon creating havoc in the classroom!

When I walked outside this evening and saw the moon, the first thing out of my mouth was "Oh...that explains it!" My students were very off today also.

My dad was a policeman for 35 years. He always said that crime and disturbances always increased during full moon.

Now I see why they were so chatty and hyper today. I also believe in full moon syndrome.

That explains my day. Melt downs and hyper activity all day. (And you should have seen the kids)

Yes. I never knew about 'the full moon' until I worked in a hospital. DD didn't like her shift in a nursing home during the full moon, either.

Totally a believer! My DD pointed it out tonight, and I said, "That's just what I need!"

Yes!!!! They were not being bad, just way more "uncontrolled" energy! We had to go out for extra recess!

This is homecoming week and the kids have been dressing up all week, so you can imagine how wired mine were today!

Errands earlier tonight I looked at BF and said"oh that explains it". He started laughing and said "were they hyper today?" Parent volunteer and I thought there was probably a monsoon coming (which would be quite a feat since we're in Georgia). I've said for years the kids were better barometers than any weather man.

I knew about the full moon so I was prepared, but we had a storm coming in. For my class on a good day we can barely control ourselves, yesterday was very difficult to say the least.

Any one who does not believe in the Full Moon Syndrome has never worked with a room full of kids!
