I am doing a camping theme and was looking for a few ideas. Does anyone had a glyph that could be adapted? Also, I am looking for an idea for my job board. Any other ideas would be appreciated, thanks

I have a photo of my "busy beaver" job board that I used with my camping theme on my website:

Hope that helps!

I had an ant bulletin board set from 2 years ago that said "Ants Work Together to Get the Job Done". I put the kids names on ants and used a checkered tablecloth as background. The jobs were on paper plates.
I had a camping theme too..... "Hoppy Birthday" with frogs, "Beary Good Work" with bears, "Campground Rules", and "Camp Read A Lot" with a tent.

I have a tent in my reading corner with some pine trees.
My birthdays are going to be bug jars.
Fishing for Good Behavior
Campfire Stories for my students published work
Camper of the Week - student of week
Camp Assistants- one boy and one girl for helpers for the day
S'more good work.

I am still working on my room and hope to take pictures soon to post.

We also did "Learn S'More About Our Class" for the beginning of the year and made giant smores. If you mix equal parts shaving cream and elmer's glue it dries puffy and lookis like a marshmallow. The kids love it. The room will smell like shaving cream for awhile but they're cute!

I have done that too. I must have made my mixture wrong because it wasn't that puffy.

Joann's Fabrics has a smores kit in their fun foam section. It worked wonderful for my daughter's door. I'll post pics soon!

Hi!

I think awhile back you had printable samples of your bug birthday jars? If so, could you please link it back or send pictures of your room?

Thanks

camping name plates

Does anyone have a camping nameplate for the kids desks? I found a good template on here for one last year and now I can't find it. Also, does anyone have a good idea for a name for my "news" bulletin board that fits with this theme?
Thanks for all your help! I love the camping theme!
