Does anyone know how to print a two or three page banner on Microsoft Word?

Thanks

I've never done a banner on Word. I've done it on graphics programs but that was before Windows XP. With Windows XP, I was not able to do a continuous banner--it would only do individual pieces to be taped together.

I've use several other programs to make banners, too. But at work I'm limited to using only Microsoft Office.

Thanks for the reply, School time. I don't mind taping it together. I just need to make a banner with large text in a single line. I know how to make the large text... just need to print know how to print it out.

Maybe someone else has more information?

All you need to do is set it to print landscape and decrease the L and R margin as small as possible. Then type whatever you like, but increase the font to around 200pt, that should fill the page. The words will run onto multiple pages.

If you have Microsoft Office you can make a banner using Publisher.

I've made banners like the way Emily has described.

It worked well.

Thanks, Emily! That was such an easy solution!

I kept trying different things but the text automatically wrapped on a single page. When I followed your suggestion about the margin changes, it was just what I needed!

Tex,
I WISH we had Publisher! I've only found Word, Excell and PowerPoint on our computers.

Thanks to all who responded!

I am glad it worked for you! I think that it is easier on Word as long as you do not want anything too fancy.
