G&T classroom questions

Just got a new job as a G&T teacher and need bulletin board ideas!! I was thinking of using Bloom's on one and the Engineering Process on another but not sure about the other two. Also is it better to have desks or tables in the classroom? I was thinking square tables would be better than desks that I could push together and pull apart, as needed. Any suggestions??

How many Bulletin Boards will you have? Are the Bulletin Boards for students use or just decoration. I like interactive bulletin boards as opposed to a decoration. To be more specific decorated boards are like "Welcome Back to School" "The Engineering Design Process" or " Growth Mindset." I'm not saying anything is wrong with these boards but the purpose is to decorate. I prefer interactive "Welcome Back to School" with pieces of paper so students can write about what they did that summer or set a goal for the upcoming school year. "The Engineering Design Process" with ideas that students can take and do at home...and then have students post pictures of them designing at home.

I have 4 boards that I usually keep the same during the year only because of the expense of changing them. I should have stated before that my job spans grades K-12 and is a pull out program. The students will come to me a few times a week.

When I was going through my masters program in GATE I put up a bulletin board using Sandra Kaplan's Depth and Complexity icons. Of course I taught the students how to implement them throughout their work which made the board more interactive. Here is a video which explains the icons.
