Clip to ScrapBook #1

I've recently been teaching my grade 3 and 4 classes more about how the library is organized (dewey and all that...) We've done a scavenger hunt and a mad libs activity. They loved them and they are asking for more but I'm out of ideas. Does anyone have any fun games or activities I can use?

My students played these 2 games online to practice Dewey Decimal order.

If your students have access to 1:1 devices (iPad, Chromebooks, laptops), Kahoot is a fun way to review what you've taught or pre-assess. https://getkahoot.com Students don't have to have an account. They just put in a pin that shows up on your interactive white board. There are probably some library Kahoots already in the gallery, but it's easy to make your own. My students love it. The 5th graders wanted to make their own Kahoot.

Kahoot gets my vote, too. There are also sites where you can create your own Jeopardy game that you can play online.
