I am the advisor for our Student Government. I want to make it exciting for the students to run for office. But, I have a few issues to take in consideration. 1. I work with students that are all physically handicapped. So, most will need some sort of assistance to do things.
2. 99% have IEP's but are able to function a few grade levels below their grade level.
3. We are talking at the most 60 students 9th grade through 21 years old.

As the elected officers (president, VP, ...) what special perks do they get at your school?

They really don't get any perks at my school other than a line on their resume. They do get priority when the council goes somewhere with limited number of seats available. It goes to school officers and then class officers and then open to the council as a whole.
